There are 3 major differences between K Series and KW Series:

  • Enclosure Type
  • Coverage Area
  • Subwoofer Needs


K Series are made from lightweight and durable ABS material while KW Series are made of premium-grade Baltic birch.


The K Family allows the customer to choose a loudspeaker based upon coverage needs rather than just output requirements.

KSub offers plenty of rock ‘n roll punch while the KW181 is geared more towards DJs looking for a more resonant sound.
